After the success of Siang Pure Oil, Bertram1958 asked us to help them launch their new brand of aromatic balm gel. Peppermint Field was created explicitly for younger audiences. We identified that our young audience's dizziness mainly was mental, not physical, like the older generation who use Siang Pure Oil. Our team wrote about 100 quirky scripts for 15 seconds commercials, presented 20 to the client, then produced 6 for the audience. This campaign was the first in Thailand to start a viral movement on YouTube. Our audience liked them so much that they created their own versions of the videos, shared them on YouTube, and provided our clients with free publicity. Some viral videos originated from Japan, shot with a Japanese cast and in the Japanese language. Domo Arigato!! These videos also performed well on the awards circuit, picking up some metals at local, regional, and international shows. However, what I'm most happy about is that the campaign made the list of funny Thai commercials on YouTube.
